General Questions

What are the reasons why people join LiveTradingFloor?

LiveTradingFloor is for people who wish to see how professional traders trade the various financial markets. We have subscriptions to LiveTradingFloor from a diverse community of people - from professional traders to complete novices. What these people have in common is that they want to see what professional traders are trading of considering to trade

Some of the postings on this section of our site are in relation to trade recommendations i.e. what the traders are considering but have not yet actually transacted. Other postings are in fact actual trades.

For many people this is an educational tool, seeing the precise entry and exit criteria and the setups and strategies that are found . For others, this helps them identify potential trading opportunities, and following the recommendations and trades they see being posted onto this site, and using their own judgement and trading style to decide whether to place an order to trade. Others see this as a way to confirm the value of attending the award winning Traders University training programme.

Whatever it is you are looking for, the opportunity to view in real time, these recommended and actualtrade will be valuable to your trading education.

How do I know you are actual traders?

We live and die trading. We trade live at our MasterTrader events in front of our audiences and all our traders trade the market's full time and are responsible for their own accounts.

When do the recommendations and actual trades appear on LiveTradingFloor?

Most of the trade analysis is done outside market hours usually in the early morning before the UK market opens. The morning news feeds are checked to assess any possible impact on the trade recommendations and once this is done, it will appear on the site accessible to you. We aim to have trade recommendations and actual trades input into the system and viewable by you at no later that 7:45am GMT allowing you ample time to assess and analyse the trades and prepare accordingly. As trading opportunities present themselves throughout the day, these will also be added in real-time.

So if I simply place an order for every actual trade will I make the same percentage?

No. Although the financial return could be similar. There are several factors that are outside your (and our) control including: timing, spread, liquidity, slippage, commission rates and differences in broker execution. Each of these will play a factor in the actual profit or loss that you make on a trade. The closer you follow the trade recommendations, the more likely it is your account will match our advertised results. We are aware that many of our clients use spreadbetting or use brokers who include commissions in their quoted prices and for these reasons we suggest that clients widen the stoploss, entry and target price from the suggested numbers posted and then re-assess the risk : reward.
